Avant-garde guitar doing a mix of standards and originals, with bass and
drums. Minasi uses a normal jazz guitar for a fluid, quiet sound, but he
plays in a hyper, slashing style. It's closer to Eugene Chadborne than
Joe Morris, in that Minasi lacks Morris' dynamic flurries; where Morris
might toss out thick clusters of different notes, Minasi tends to "ride"
one note, or just twiddle his right hand real fast while sliding his left
hand up or down a string.

Clearly more "avant" than traditional, but Minasi's guitar is not
abrasive; even relaxing. Sort of.

1*- Mellow feel
2- Miles Davis classic, played with floaty dischord
3*- Cute waltz
4- Dark and abstract
5- Mid/fast burble
6*- Disjoint, with the occasional "nice" jazz chord thrown in
7- Slow, very dark
8*- Twisted, spiky reading of a Monk classic
