This CD is full of rollicking Nordic instrumental fiddling – a beer-swilling good time. The last two songs are almost Americana bluegrass-folky, and others have a Celtic feel. Try: 3,4,8,11.
1. Lots of lively fiddling, melodic interplay
2. Mid-tempo traditional polka
3. Celtic “reel” – quick tempo, a break, then a big buildup
4. Kind of has a rock composition – but it’s a traditional tune
5. A slower & folksy ballad
6. Mid-tempo, w/ lots of melodic fiddling interplay
7. Has a Celtic sailing-melody feel to it
8. Starts mid-tempo and gets real fast & hi-energy
9. Big chorus of strings & horns – big buildups
10. A very bluegrass-y feel to this polka
11. Nice ballad, flowing strings, and a folky guitarish sound
