On the mellow/folky side. It's more about the guitar and voice than the beats. Great stuff, a little sad. +1.slow, trying-to-escapist. +2.smooth, almost lounge 3.slow sad lost-a-love song 4.midtempo, big&dreamy, got the strings a major part +5.midtempo, major key. Guitar, weird wispy background noises give way to bass organ 6.repetitive +7.lulling. acoustic intro, builds with vibraphone, synths etc 8.sounds like singing over soundtrack music. Slow, no drums, minimal electric bass & guitar with spacious synths 9.mid-slow, catchy +10.mid, mid-fast (wow), echoey piano, cheesy drum machine, minor/major transitions 11.a good penultimate song starts quiet acoustic guitar gets louder, anthemic 12.Nice because it doesn't get all big and produced, guitar bass electric piano and simple drums.relaxing If you're familiar with Beck's earlier work, think Mutations.
