Album Review
Your Imaginary Friend
Reviewed 2002-12-09
Think Minutemen: upbeat spastic beats, not as funky but still a lot of 9th and 7th chord usage. Guit/bass/drums with in your face lyrics and delivery a la D. Boone. Guitar is cleanly overdriven. Lyrics are political, socially conscious too. But this isn’t too much of a rip as to not be original. Its good stuff.

1) upbeat, bouncy almost dancy, FCC
2) upbeat fast
3) very minutemen-like with funky minimalism and in your face political lyrics
4) upbeat galloping anti-war political
5) jangly upbeat with breaks a la minutemen
6) upbeat with some crazy drum fills
7) carribo mild reggae ska flare to this, mellower, FCC
8) upbeat sorta slidey and upbeat
9) brief spazz out
10) minor themed upbeat, good rhythm, melodic and hooky
11) upbeat Spanish flare, pretty
