Primitivo Di Mantre
Free improv with bass, trombone and percussion. Overall effect is abstract and slow -- slow in a relaxed sense rather than an eerie/doom sense.|
Not the most agile group, especially given that the trombone is the only horn. It's got a choppier sound than, say, a sax-led album would.
1,2,3 -- Long and reasonably engaging sketches. Lots of space.
4,5-- Two short quiet pieces. #4 is a bit disjoint, 5 is more flowing and works better for my taste
