Fire this Time, the

This is the most important cd in the a-file right now: masterful historical account of conflict in Iraq/Persian Gulf concentrating on Gulf War I and its aftermath, use of economic sanctions as a weapon of mass destruction. Hundreds of amazing soundbites and quotes from news/tv/media were collaged as well as narration. Soundbeds are quality electronica ranging from ambient/new agey space of Michael Stearns to kick-ass noisy jungle by Aphex Twin, as well as work by Orbital. CD2 features soundbeds only with a few twists; they stand by themselves too. I urge all djs to play this cd at least once. Its important. Bill C.
