Recorded in the US between 1923-1950, Amalia sings traditional Greek folk songs in an emotional (though sometimes whiny) voice. Most of the recordings are old & scratchy which detracts from the music, and it’s mostly slow, but it’s an interesting historical recording. Try the following:

3.Slow/Mid-tempo w/some nice strings in the back.
7. Slightly faster w/intricate melody.
11. Klezmer-esque sound, slow, kind of tinny.
16. Slightly bouncy w/wailing vocals.
17. Castanets, whiny vocals, mid-tempo.
18. Best recording quality so far. Nice band.
