Indie pop from Bay Area duo. Mostly med pace with somewhat intense lyrics. Male vocals are wavering at points and sound at moments like cross between Bowie and Neil Young. Also guitar, bass, keyboards, and occasional horn and violin. Note two unlisted tracks at end. Recommend 1 and 4.
– bouncey, boppy, good beat, sound effects
– slower, dreamy, and psychedelic, more complex
– straightforward medium pace, simpler, kind of catchy chorus
– slow and warbly psychedelic intro, but ramps up with layered vocals and guitar
– simple pop, simple beat
– slow and quaint, lazy and meandering
– slow-med, vocal-driven with discordant droning background sounds, brief horn solo
– unlisted track, has blank 1:00 if played right from track 7, otherwise no blank space and gets right to 1:30 of high-tech industrial sounding effects and synth vocal
– unlisted track, herky-jerky beat in verses, keyboards sound like a carousel, but choruses pretty catchy
