Chuck Picklesimer -- Greetings from West Virginia

Gentle, grandfatherly folk, great deep voice a la Johnny Cash. Pleasant songs if not especially striking, mostly concerning life lessons about friends, family, faith and love -- an old-timer passing along what he's learned. Very
earnest and touching, but the best songs are about seemingly random topics like a time-traveling beauty contest winner and a guy making a deal with a minor
devil character become a fair/middling guitar player. Some songs are duets with his niece, who co-wrote some of the songs.

Best tracks: 1, 3, 13, 19

3. About a time traveling beauty contest winner - no joke
7. Heartbreaking story
10. Sad tale
11. Good instrumentation - accordion/fiddle
13. A deal with the devil for guitar skills
19. Goofy metaphors for discarded love
