It would be hard to play a single track from this album on a show, but it is worth a listen. Tiga is from Montreal and is one of the major tech house DJ’s. (sounds like Felix da Housecat, DJ Hell) 1) House beat with spacey, 80’s sounds, male and fem voices saying “the radio” over and over. Some keyboard and hand claps. 2) Perfectly good 80’s style house track, with a sax solo played on top. 3) German fem voice softly sings over house beats. Not especially retro.4) Same voice different beats. Fem voice turns into moaning. 5) Song switches a minute into the track with what seems to me to be a train wreck. Guitar and house beats accompany a fem voice. Turns into a bit of an 80’s style rock song. 6) Nice 80’s style electro with heavy beats 7) Le Tigre’s Deceptacon remix with tech house beats. 8) Definitely retro-tech. Light electro. 9) Higher paced, harder beats. 10) Deeper beats, male vocal saying inaudible phrases. 11) Good dance track. Electro-pop beats, fem voices wisping in and out. 12) Male voice singing with the same wispy fem voices from the last track. 13) Simple tech track. 15) Fem voice softly singing on tech house beats. 16) upbeat dance track. 18) electroclash style beats (think ladytron) 19) Fluffy light house track, fun beat. 21) Tiga’s own track. Spacey keyboard with tech beats. 23) Harder beats, eery electro sounds. 24) Tech beats, man pronouncing himself his favorite fan. 80’s synthesizer sound. 25) Tiga’s cover of Madame Hollywood. |
