Funk and soul. Although this collection contains some great socially conscious songs calling for change and justice, few if any are actually about the Black Panthers themselves. That said, there are several classic songs on here, and the liner notes do have a brief history of the Black Panthers (in German and English) if you need a little history. 15) Blues-y gospel. Great song, although this version is a little lighter then the original Nina Simone version, which I think weakens the impact a bit.
