Indie band that does a good impression of Elliott Smith, while vocalist does a great impression of Ben Gibbard (of Death Cab For Cutie). Sensitive male vocals and strummy, not-too-rough backup. Has that sort of pervasive melancholia, even when it's happy. As derivative as this is, it's actually a nice album, as good as any Mr. Smith has put out. -nari

1. strummy folky with tambourine; representative
2. slow electronic beat, kinda spy mood
3. sounds so much like Elliott Smith I thought it was a cover
4. a brief song with plinky toy-box piano
5. simple piano ballad with vocals in an echo chamber
6. catchy breezy uptempo
7. midtempo and folky
8. slower, sadder, gorgeous doubled vocal harmonies
9. just solo acoustic and vocals; wistful
10. just solo piano and vocals, w/"old radio" filter
11. closer rocks out just a little bit with electric guitar
