Jim O'Rourke with the two of the same collaborators who worked with him on Insignificance. This is mellow indie rock with male vocals. Sounds like David Grubbs' recent release. The mood is fuzzy and warm, like an impressionist painting. Songs are on the long side, beginning relatively plain-sounding and developing into fuller sound with arty embellishments and original twists. A great debut - ALL GOOD. -nari

1. happy, lackadaisical march that builds propulsion to a jaggy Sonic Youth-esque ending (7:16)
2. acoustic with touches of banjo; builds up to a long instrumental end with lots of happy acoustic plucking and bell tones (6:13)
3. slower and a little bit darker; dischordant electric guitar amblings over lamenting vocals and chaotic percussion; great extended moody guitar outro (8:57)
4. short & simple; dusty midtempo that sounds like Acetone (3:30)
5. standout track; very catchy riff and an ending that dissolves into psyched out electric guitar ala Acid Mothers Temple (5:36)
6. pastoral uptempo finger-picked acoustic number with shakers; builds to cascading acoustic guitars; pretty, Fahey (7:35)
