Album Review
Reviewed 2003-04-04
His name is pronounced SELL-so, and he’s produced, written for, arranged or played on CDs by Gilberto Gil, Virginia Rodriques, and others. He’s got a deliciously sexy voice, expertly showcased in this collection of hip, modern bossa novas. Plays a good guitar, too. A lush, relaxed, romantic CD.

*1. Slow, delicious, sensual.
2. Lightly swaying guitar, warm vocals.
*3. Mid-tempo w/cool percussion.
4. In English w/a lush, lounge slow dance sound..
5. Bass, perc, vox. Relaxed & sleepy.
6. Sweet, slow horn intro into a slow, romantic sound
*7 Jazzy instrumental remake of the Baden Powel classic.
*8. Smooth, sexy duet on this track by Jobim.
9. Cool percussion/guitar, slow vocals an interesting sound.
10. Slow, jazz piano/strings/English vocals.
*11. Light and relaxed w/a sweet blend of vox/guitar/perc.
12. A jazz instrumental w/programming.
