Album Review
Your Imaginary Friend

4 womyn who play a take-no-prisoners brand of loud in your face punk with pop elements (notice I didn’t say “pop punk”). Ramones meet the Muffs. They shredded WNL about a year ago (check the WNL cds in A). Driving punk, guit/bass/drums played with an old school punk approach by old school punks (some members were in early 80’s SF punk bands). The vocals are done in perfect 2 part harmony. Though they sound sweet, I wouldn’t want to get on the bad side of these 4. All songs hard driving and fast, not fucking around.

1) upbeat driving
2) harmony laden
3) hit quality
4) more
5) bouncy driving harmony laden
6) poppier rock
7) poppy almost surfy
8) FCC in chorus and blatant 2nd verse
9) 4 chord punk
10) almost sugary
11) 2/4 punk
12) galloping pop
13) good and crunchy
14) epic, lots of harmonies, ends after 3:30, then a minute of silence followed by studio sounds
