Free improvisation in a game format, led by the clarinetist. Unlike a lot of game pieces, you can feel the shifts in procedure happening -- things suddenly speed up or tone down.
1- Small chains of cascading notes, punctuated by silences. Like little runs of dominos falling. Turns to long, rolling segments -- here's where we see how the game aspect works.
2- Starts quiet, moves into choppier, more aggressive sounds, with a bass pulse -- just for a short while. Then soft, floaty tones.
3- Loud/soft/loud
4- Jumble, then skittery buzzing
5- Relaxed, gets quiet. Louder and stern towards the end.
6- Loud, tense and dramatic.
