Heavily produced indie folk-rock, slick, but
usually slick in an interesting way. Lyrics are
like "They Might be Giants" or maybe "The
Mountain Goats", but the sound is more like
"Mercury Rev". Typically, each track starts
with some choppy, tweaked samples: instant
segue from almost anything.

Faves: (1) "I was shocked to know/ that I'm not
the only one/ who knows that we're headed for
the sun..." An oddly affectionate depiction of
the late night talk show radio mindset.
Namedrops Art Bell. Closes: "-- we are all
doomed."

(7) Jungle-like intro -> boring guitar fill ->
decent quiry pop.

(10) A typical track: slow psychedelic whispered
vocals: "My head is all off kilter & spins
around and around... like Linda Blair"
