I'm very excited about this cd. Terrific beats and great sampled sounds. sometimes melodic, eerie, beat driven, sample ridden and harsh at times. All of the songs are constantly evolving so they are hard to describe, but I tried. All songs are good.
1) dark synth sounds. vocal samples. Beat revs up a little into the song.
((2)) starts with a sample of a kid's story. creepy. everything is sooo slow....
3)) light beat, samples of woman telling story, dreamy strings with changing beat.
((4)) dark beats and synths. Light buzzing flints in and out.
5) short. Big band sample gets distorted and interrupted.
6) high paced beat with swirling synths. Beats change nature and pace through the song
((7)) alternates between dancey.and super-slow. Turns into a country folk song before it ends.
8) slow, sounds like a loud tunnel.
(((9))) minor FCC, “shit” slow sounds come in and out through droning sounds and dropping water. Voicemail message segues into a higher paced beat.
((10)) slow strings. Outerspacey and hard beats.
11) samples of a woman talking about wine with a discordant beat.
((12)) loud distortion, fuzzed out sounds.
13) high paced beats. Buzzes and beeps.
((14)) sickly beats, slowed down vox samples. Various samples make up most of the song.
(((15))) steady beat with samples. Beats turn hollow sounding.
16) slow synth sounds gets sped up and down.
17) robot sounds and driving, hard beat. Ends with water style sounds.
((18)) slow patchwork of samples. Main sample is maybe a rehersal of a latin music group.
