Nice blend of styles, from Latin jazz to salsa, to reggae. He’s got a warm voice and is a good lyricist. All vocals in Spanish, w/English translations in the notes. 1. Like a sweet, downtempo bossa nova w/soprano sax. *2. Slow & relaxed jazz. “Men are like dogs.” 3. Ballad for vox/piano/cello. Slow, dramatic. 4. Reggae influenced pop, mid-tempo. 5. Relaxed love song to the girls of the neighborhood. *6. A jazz waltz, nice work from the trio. *7. Salsa w/blues harmonica & female chorus. 8. Slow & gentle vox/acoustic guitar.
