The voice is a little rusty, but still gorgeous. And he’s joined by ”brothers” like Chucho Valdes, Cachaito Lopez, Ry Cooder, and the Blind Boys of Alabama, who add to the overall quality of this album.
1. Relaxed swing w/nice percussion/horns.
2. A mid-tempo groove w/ touches of funk.
*3. Sexy dance in praise of Cuban music. Delicious.
4. Horns, percussion, vocals…a lively mid-tempo mix..
5. A slow love song of regret. Pretty.
*6. A sweet, relaxed retro-sound love song. Very cool.
7. A slow, romantic dance w/rich choral backing.
8. Lush strings, slow & dramatic.
*9. A jazzy, upbeat dance w/cool perc/horns/vox.
10. Sweet & relaxed w/some nice guitar work.
*11. Slow, sweet, romantic jazz.
12. Relaxed & harmonic w/nice choral work..
13. Good percussion & use of chorus, guitars a bit much.
