Great contemporary flamenco/jazz recorded live in New York. Composer/guitaris/vocalist Romero is joined by another guitarist and vocalist/bass/sax/flute/and percussion. He’s a very good guitarist and there’re some nice tracks here. Most start slow & quiet and pick up along the way.
1. Uptempo w/some nice flourishes and great string work.
*2. Nice use of bass, starts midtempo & picks up.
3. Starts slow, gets into a jazz groove mid-song.
4. Traditional love song, slow and romantic.
*5. Cool guitar/perc/sax blend w/a jazzy kind of interplay.
6. More flamenco jazz w/nice use of percussion.
7. Nice strings, lots of tempo changes, a cool sound.
