Mildly funky jazz with the occasional avant twist. Typical tracks have fast, stabbing horn lines over some cool piano chords and electric bass, followed by some nicely dynamic solos.

Previte used to be one of the downtown NYC avant-jazzers (cf. his duet CD with John Zorn) but like TriBeCa expatriates Wayne Horvitz and Bill Frisell, his composing lately has turned toward the accessible. This is apparently his take at soul jazz (judging by the song titles). Most of these tracks are a danceable 4/4, maybe with some twists in the compsed part and plenty of freedom offered for soloing.

*- Snappy upbeat coolness, danceable
- Mid/fast
- Midtempo jabbing melody over slow piano chords
- Slow, a bit more expansive
*- Quick and jumbly
*- Playfully chamber-like. Very cool "outside" piano solo.
- Midtempo
- Mid/slow, big sweeping horn lines
- Calm, starts very quiet
