Two kooks who dress up all in well...Pink & Brown - even their wrestling masks are their respective colors. This is more of that guitar/drums madness that you pretty much expect from a label like Load (same could be said for the Bulb label). I think this band has/had some kind of potential to make good songs BUT the majority of this is just pointless walls of guitar wailings & basic drumming. It’s s bit like of: Rapeman, The Ruins, Lighting Bolt, Rancid Hell Spawn. However unlike most of those bands - these songs aren’t really um, “songs” it’s just a lot of aimless jamming & I think there’s some lyrics in here but I’d be hard pressed to figure out if it’s even any discernable language (maybe “Hutese”, “Elvish”, Kobiinan?). If I ever would use the phrase ‘musical retardation’, I’d use it here. Anyway, there’s way too much of this & really I think that these two should limit themselves to just releasing 7”ers. Oh, I’m sure you’ll have a different opinion - but hey - they broke up already - so no big loss. Only useful tracks: 1) Rather heavy on the Rpeman worship sans any actual direction or overwhelming power that band had. Although...this didn’t actually cause vomiting! 3) Slightly Mudhoney laden crossed with Lighting Bolt rhythmic madness. 5) Weirdly skee-diddling on both drums/guitars. 12.) Odd bassy rhythm & totally lo-fi sounds. As if two 6 yr. olds wacked out on sugar & caffeine are having a go in the basement with cheap-ass Sears quality instruments.
