Because Sherwood (né Maxwell) has produced some of the most gargantuan releases in dub over the past twenty years (not to mention his helming Mark Stewart's and Ministry's acidic industrial rants), it's a minor disappointment to have his first album under his own name be so tame. Yeah, the elements are there but there's not enough - not enough volume, bass, conviction, enthusiasm. I almost want to blame his record label because as good as Real World has been about bringing so many fresh new talents from around the world to prominence, most of their albums have this same lack of fire. Or, it could be having kids that mellowed him out. Anyway, there are a few tracks that sound nice and they all serve well for dubby background. Just don't expect too many epiphanies.

2. Nice Eastern chant and piano sample
4. Insistent rhythm track, a bit of guitar
6. A rare vocal track and for once, sufficiently rude bass
8. Dub Syndicate-y melodic vocals and bassline
9. Kiddie chorus, piano loop
10. Stoked-up ragamuffin rap, cool floating wail, sharp guitar, machine rhythms
