JACKIE MITTOO – Champion in the Arena, 1976-77
Blood & Fire, 2003

The most influential reggae keyboardist ever, Jackie Mittoo was music director for the famed Studio 1 record label and a founding member of the Skatalites. The sides on this comp were recorded in Britain, produced by Bunny Lee and mixed by King Tubby. They're all instrumentals, with Jackie on Hammond B-3 or other electric keyboards, and have that classically 70s roots/dub sound.

There isn't much variety, but it's excellent mixing or soundbed material.
