Excellent roadhouse rock from a longtime Mission busker. Guitarlos, his band, and guests (Dave Alvin, John Doe, Mike Watt) mix blues, soul, rockabilly, and country into straight ahead rock. There's nothing groundbreaking here; rather, it's aural comfort food. The lyrics lean to lost love, lost homes, lost opportunities, and hope, redemption, and continued effort in the face of all that. 1. Twangy fast one 2. Lovin' blues 3.
