Chris Skyhawk is a “radical folk” musician who plays guitar and sings about what’s wrong with politicians and corporations and what’s right with his style of life up in Albion, California. On this album, he is accompanied by banjo, harmonica, mandolin, bass, and / or the occasional backup vocalist. His vocal style seems to alternate between scathing political statements and one that is light and humorous. Many of my favorite tracks here are ones that feature Catfish Jack on harmonica.
