The Devilheads – Never Lucky

Excellent classic rockabilly/psychobilly from Lake Tahoe. Greasers, drinking, getting rowdy – good guitar work, plus upright bass and twangy vocals. Some 60s style rockabilly, some punk/psychobilly with overdriven vocals. Along the
lines of Rev. Horton Heat. PICS: 1,3,4,5, 8

1. rocking guitar -- fast
2. billy the kid story, mid/upbeat
3. nice fuzzed-up vocals, “boots and a bottle of jack”
4 & 5. classic rockabilly style
6. gonna be a fight tonite!
7. mid – lost love
8. nice bass lines, raspy vocals
9. “I like you better drunk” – hmmm, I think I’d like
this song better if I was drunk
