More of Parker's composition-based free jazz, with Billy Bang dishing out some pretty nutty violin solos. Hamid Drake is on drums. Mostly energetic stuff.
1*- Mid/fast based on a cool little theme. Some nice explosive segments.
2*- Strong, dramatic violin lines, midtempo pulse. Great vamp for a long, dynamic violin solo.
3- A bit bluesy, based on a lumbering riff
4- Mid/fast bouncy square dance number
5*- Mid/fast and jumbled. Dig the fluttering-bow duet near the end.
6- A pretty melody in 6/8. Happy, nice.
