Giant Haystacks -- Patriotism in Action Angular, driving, propulsive punk a la Minutemen or Gang of Four. From Oakland. Pointed political lyrics, jerky and catchy songs. Very good! Read the accompanying zine! I liked all the tracks 1. Fast, great guitar, pounding drums, about his brother, very catchy 2. driving guitar; shouted, introspective lyrics 3. more melodic lyrics, more traditional punk song 4. slower, fugazi-like, good discordant lyrics at end 5. excellent yelling, angular guitars, slower in middle then picks up again 6. anti-occupation! mostly instrumental, longer, great!! | ||
