Accessible jazz with nicely complex composing. The CD cover is all bleakly dark and evil, but really this is bright jazzy stuff, maybe with light touches of spookiness in Khabu Doug Young's spidery guitar lines.

The band includes Art Lande on piano and Ron Miles on trumpet, both of contributing a plush, gentle sound ... but then, Young adds some out-there fusion, almost prog rock. Slightly strange mixture and very good overall.

- Soft cocktail feel, some nice mid/fast soloing
*- Mid/fast. Out-there guitar
- Placid, soft
- Scattery piano
*- Midtempo, a bit swingy
- Gentle
*- Pleasant bouncing midtempo melody. Wacky, warbly-sounding guitar solo. Slow start.
- Gently spiky theme; mellow and midtempo
- Soft, mid/slow
