Re-release of Frank Discussion’s first album-Seminal Phoenix/SF hardcore from 1981. Irreverent as hell, searing guitars and flame thrower vocals. “Insert” has good band history but suffice to say this is foundation stuff remastered and sounding fresher than most of the current crop of so called “punk” bands. All great, but watch FCCs. 1) “cover” of Olivia Neutron Bomb’s hit, classic 2, 3) upbeat evil Feeders 4) terrorist: classic 5) brief 6) FCC unfortunately, great song 7) upbeat driving 8) FCCs to the max, sacrilegious classic 9) FCCs 10) faster punky brief 11) feminine hygiene, triplet punk 12) upbeat, brutal 13) female guest vocs 14) midpaced, dark spy surf tone 15) upbeat, faster 16) FCCs, mid paced interesting 17) FCCs, great song but chorus is “fuck you”, pretty easily edited though if you are good | ||
