Mellow indie rock featuring guitars, Rhodes organs, and drums! Lots of repetitive grooves but they pull it off without being boring. Andrew Kenny’s breathy, subdued vocals fit nicely. A damn good. addictive album.
*1) repetitive groove that builds slowly
*2) moving guitar part with slower keys and shaker enhanced drums
*3) features the best vocals on the album + infectious bells/organ? + arpeggiated guitar + kicking drums….me rikey rikey.
4) slow Rhodes intro into a light wash of guitar/bass
5) the most “rock” like song on the album… heavier drums and steady, holding keys
6) upbeat with sneaking guitar and drums
*7) slightly warbling keys build to warm guitar
8) slower, guitar and keys call and answer intro then add bells and then strings and finally vocals.
