Portuguese fado, Spanish flamenco, Greek folk ballads, Nordic choruses, Celtic fiddlers, and more. Another strong release from the Rough Guide series. This one also a fundraiser for Amnesty International. Great music & a great cause. Play it all. 1. Mid-tempo fado w/wonderful female vocals. 2. Mid/down tempo Greek folk w/strings & fem. vox. 3. Uptempo Italian folk w/a contemporary sound & strong fem. vox. 4. Dramatic blend strings/female vocals/chorus. Sort of dark. 5. Fast Gypsy brass band oom-pah w/chorus. 6. Fun brass polka w/a wacky soundtrack sort of sound. Cool. 7. A classic Balkan folk dance. Fast w/lots of strings/chorus. Catchy 8. A sad lament for the loss of Czarist Russia. Pretty. 9.
