Great, great indie pop, a two-guitar quartet with male and female vocals, hailing from Atlanta. Energetic and bright. Great production and spot-on vocals. Similar to Olivia Tremor Control or Neutral Milk Hotel but with more rocking elements, a la The Kinks and The Who.|
These guys follow the Guided By Voices ethic of very short songs packed with rock goodness. Some tracks blend together, so watch out for weird segues.
The band name is The Ether Family Presents, and all four members give themselves the fictitious Ether pseudonym. In real life they're from Atlanta and the two singers are married. The CD includes a Quicktime video of the making of the album.
