Thelonious Monk songs played on Moog synths and run through a musical cuisinart. Fun, wacky, goofy ... a very Esquivel! kind of retro-futuristic sound, a '60s go-go feel.

Other influences listed in the liner notes: Isao Tomita, Wendy Carlos, Bonzo Dog Band, and Roger Powell, the keyboardist for Todd Rundgren's Utopia.

Big fun, impossible not to crack a smile, especially if you're familiar with the originals.

- Mid/fast surf music
*- Fast and rolling, with perky duck sound
*- Loungy soft shuffle
*- Gloopy and cartoony
- Drifty and romantic (in a Moog way)
- Fast; Christmas-at-Macy's organ
- Squawky, with Hawaiian guitar!
- Circus-y, spacey, mid/fast
**- Groovy fast, like the Batman TV theme, with some Moog theremin. Dance, dammit!
*- Mid/fast, crunchy beat, silly Munchkin voices
- Big rockin' blasts, goofy banjo pauses
- Bumpy jungle chaos
