Mister Records Comp

Great comp, sampler of Mister Records artists. Along with Bulb and Load, this label tops my list for strange noisy fucked up artists. This comp fits the bill: all low-fi, a lot noisy, ranging widely from “anti-folk” to hip hop to “electroclash” to balls out noise garage. Great stuff!!

3) strange spoof (?) of house/trance music, bad string of FCCs in the sample at 3:40
4) FCCs, with a name like “Pornbelt”…you bet its good, too bad about the FCCs (fuck, shit, tits, etc), snotty all girl rock, grimey dirty
5) hip hop, simple electro beat, girl rapper addresses frat boys and poseurs
6) ¾ gothy dissonant guit riff, spooky echoey vocs in vein of track 2
7) folky guit, cheesy rock ballad
