Stellar debut from Icelandic quartet, a perfect 10. Ranges from sexy rootsy garage twang of Chrome Cranks to Jesus and Mary Chain’esque dreamy pop noise psyche. Weird when scandanavia/Iceland does American roots rock better than Americans, but that’s nothing new. This band is really really really good, every single song is a winner. Reverby guitars, understated male vocs, great sexy beats, noise and keys. What more do you want? The Birthday Party? My Bloody Valentine? Country Teasers? Loop? A rubber biscuit?

1) ooh yeah, swingy sexy rootsy fuck music with a kick ass noise “lead”, this fucking ROCKS
2) dreamy psyche pop
3) swingy sexy again with kick ass reverbed guit and distant harmonica
4) droney guits ring of Loop but music is decidedly JandMC
5) slower swingy twangy w/ fem harmonies, sexy, spacey, MBV in a pickup truck
6) Stereolab in a pickup truck, no really, maybe stereolab in a doublewide trailer, “anytime cowboy”
7) sorta old Stooges grinding feel, dark, maybe it’s the “c’mon” that feels iggy
8) slow-mid swingy
9) morricone acoustic ballady with lots of background noises, cool sounds, trippy
10) hip grinding fuzzy cover of classic, ends with ~45 sec of synth noise
