From 1970. The notes explain it better than I can. Interesting field recordings of praise music in a variety of styles. Typically call and response vocals, plus some instrumentals (including percussion, flutes, even a leaf whistle). Strong drumming throughout, but the explanations of the songs are fascinating.

*1. Upbeat call/response w/bright percussion.
*2. Catchy melody, good lead singer, nice percussion.
*3. A tinny, instrumental cumbia. The leaf makes a cool sound.
4. Capoeira track w/typical drums/vocals. Nicely relaxed.
5. Call/response samba. The vocals get drowned by the percussion
*6. Read the notes. Drums that take over, vocals, serious ritual.
7. Call/response w/strong female leader. Driving percussion.
8. Fast drumming, vocals, shakers.
9. Uptempo drums/shakers/vocals w/increasing energy.
10. More fast drums/shakers/vox all blending well.
11. Drums & shakers/vocals create a hypnotic rhythm.
