The AEC reconvenes as a trio to say goodbye to trumpeter Lester Bowie. This is their characteristic free jazz with lots of percussion, but minus Bowie's trumpet, of course. Includes some catchy, easygoing compositions (2, part of 4) as well as two improvised jams presumably in Lester's honor (5,6).

Recorded in 2001. (Lester died Nov. 8, 1999)

1*- Dense midtempo percussion, a forest of different beats w/bass soloing. Midway, turns stormy, w/sax.
2*- Peaceful and melodic, brings a smile to your face.
3*- Midtempo swingy melody, pleasant. Chaotic bass/drums segment
4- Slow, low and lumbering, on bass sax. Second half is speedy free jazz, gets chaotic
5- Fast improv, gets wild and firey
6- Percussion improv, restrained and calm. Moves into reeds/horns
at -6:00, a slow ghostly procession. Ends quietly
