The production on these songs is really cleaver and intriguing. What else would you expect from one part of cLOUDEAD? Why? has a whiney out of tune voice that is on every song here. All of it feels pretty singer/songwriter with really excellent music. I like it a lot in small doses, but his voice gets to me if I listen to the album straight through.
((1)) Fun production involving many elements with sing songy male vocals. *starts with a quick fcc* 2) Short song with rapid beats somewhat distorted. 3) Another short song with strings, bells, and beats.((4)) A spookier song with male vox with strings, beats, and synths.((5)) A basic house beats is clouded with synths, and Pet Shop Boys type vocals. Song evolves away from this a couple times. 6) Lots of singing. In the beginning accompanied by piano and recorder. The singing turns into a light electronic piece and the song ends with accapella singing. 7) Soft singer/songwriter song with some drums and picked guitar.8) Silly song with interesting procession, voices and effects. ((9)) Cute pop song: “ I just found out for sure, the girl I have a crush on is a lesbian” Effects on the voice, synths and interesting beats. 10) starts with a computer voice. Farm animal sounds, casio beat, noise and synths collage. Comes together eventually, and then Why? starts singing out of tune.11) *FCC* 12) *FCC* more rap like than sing-songy. Pretty, but dirty in parts. 13) *FCC* guitar + drums + effects + why’s vocals. Turns really heavy at the end. ((14)) Buzzing sounds that rotate around your ears, drums, and cool synths. Why’s voice is not so much in the forefront on this one. *false ending* after 3 min. then about 10 seconds at the end of the track of random recording.
