From Tucson: Truly indie, driving emo’ish heavy guitar rock, almost all instrumental but if vocs are there they are screamy and well buried in the mix. Somehow reminiscent of MX80 Sound (a great old SF band in case you don’t know, check them out on vinyl in the library). Great stuff, anything but slick. Perfect for KZSU (I caught them live last July in Tucson and they are awesome). 1) driving rockin, near instrumental, vocs late 2) watch about 10 seconds dead air intro, driving similar to 1 3) driving, mellow, driving, mellow, driving 4) reminds me of Modest Mouse or similar, musically melodic guitar music 5) rockin mid tempo 6) pounding beat 7) quiet intro, more heavy rock 8) vocs, heavy, upbeat almost thrashy | ||
