Early recordings of Swedish group now in the second tier of the punk-garage revival (that’s already losing steam). These tunes show that the group was there before this latest wave started rising though this is a bit of a different sound from their current one. These here are some short, fast, loud songs focused on powerful riffs (though there are some prog-y bits), fast tempos (though a few slow ones are in the set), and full-throated vocals. There really is something very reminiscent of DC punk’s/emo’s hooks and power in these tunes and that’s a good quality in my book. Any of these tunes will do well when you want/need to rock. Track 4 will also do well in more sedate settings.
