Swann Danger "Swann Danger" - Wow. This is some really nice goth rock plain and simple. Heavy dark echoing bass lines and plodding pounding drums are at the base of each song. Guitars and electronic samples noise around on top along with female vocals that you will swear are Siouxsie Sioux. The band is made up of two kids from right across the bay in Oakland and they really get it right. Songs are very dark and creepy and really succeed in creating a chilling mood with pretty minimal instrumentation. All songs are good and highly recommended for anyone wanting something dark.
My Picks: 2, 4

1) Starts in with drums and dark heavy echoey bass. Vocals come in and more guitars and electronic noises added. Solid midtempo beat. Pretty minimal.
2) Starts with clicking and metallic scraping sounds. Bass line comes in with a nice plodding faster midtempo. Creepy kind of feel. Vocals are a little muted.
3) Slower midtempo with pounding drums. Very dark feel to it with dark lyrics. This very creepy.
4) Slower midtempo drums to start with cool trembling/echoing bass. Guitar is added (also with a bit of a trembling/echoing feel). Dark sultry vocals.
5) The same echoing/trembling bass starts it off then drums and cymbals come in. Plodding slow beat that drags a bit. Also kind of minimal, but really nice.
