Not all are tangos…though they are represented. This is a mix of “traditional” Piazolla w/ strong European influences that range from dark soundtrack sounds to romantic, nostalgic dances. Piazolla purists might not like it, since the accordion is backed in places by everything from synths to full orchestra. Overdone in some places, but there are a few good tracks.

*1. Sexy Euro-influenced medley of dances. (Track is 5:35)
*2. Like the theme to a 60’s spy movie. Cool, mysterious.
3. Lush & sad at first, more orchestrated & lyrical later.
4. Bass, big orchestration, strings. Lots of…um….sounds.
5. Quiet & spare, then sad & nostalgic. Then busy.
6. Faster w/a big, jazzy feel.
7. Romantic & nostalgic then brighter w/lots of strings.
