The Devil Makes Three: The Devil Makes Three All-acoustic dark and badass oldtime countryish folk. Two guitars, stand-up bass, three voices. Songs about drinking and being discontent and rowdy. Lots of minor key; rhythmic, fast-flying, interesting lyrics that might belong in metal songs for their dreamy dark literal mythology, or rap songs for their belligerence. A bit understated, because of the sparse instrumentation, but cool nevertheless. *1. (2:24) Bouncy sharp minor key taunting their enemies 2. (3:26) driven resonant midtempo, harmonies—graveyard of dreams 3. (2:33) bouncy oom-pah uptempo **4. (2:45) strummy folksy, low nonchalant menacing vocals—catchy minor-key melody 5.
