Tech Ritter and the ...
Some tracks of "regular" free jazz (3,5) coupled with quiet cosmic explorations with lots of percussion (2,4,6). Every track is great.
1- Midtempo, fairly conventional; a coolly upbeat song followed by solos
2- A series of slow, contemplative solos, followed by a slowly noisy ensemble segment
3- Chugging and burly
4- Calm flute/percussion, like a Native American ceremony. Slow and meditative.
5- Snaky fast neo-swingy theme; aggressive blowout soloing
6,7 - Meditative jams, faster than #4. 6 gets into more of a tribal-beat thing, while 7 has a wilder jungle-madness feel, but both are fairly mellow.
