Post-Hip-Hop excursions in turntablism. I think that Dan the Automator said it best when he described Kid Koala as one of the most musical turntablists out there. He has an uncanny ability to create new tones from his scratched records, but he also has excellent percussive timing. He also has a huge and varied collection of spoken word records, which he uses to create odd little narratives in his songs. This is a fabulous little journey into his world, all tracks recommended.
