What Yo Yo Ma is to cello, in many ways Williams is to the guitar: a classical artist curious about the world and ready to explore and celebrate the music of other cultures. Here he focuses on Venezuela, with dances that showcase the Indian/Spanish/African blend that makes up this music. Mostly solo guitar, 4 track feature excellent cuatro. Good stuff, all instrumentals. Check out the following especially:

2. A sweet and happy dance.
3. Slower and elegant w/a wonderful emotional quality.
4. A nice version of the Venezuelan national dance.
7. Great uptempo duet w/wonderful inerplay.
9 – 13 Set of 5 pieces most downtempo and lovely. Can be played together, tho there are 3-4 seconds of silence at end of each track.
16. Uptempo w/a Flamenco sound. Great playing.
17. A light, swaying dance.
22. Delicately happy w/a sweet, melodic quality.
24. Guitar/cuatro duet. This one w/a relaxed, joyful feel.
25. Another duet, nice conversations between the 2.
