Modern bop, in a quintet with piano, sax, and trumpet. Accessible, with modern touches but nothing too upsetting for fans of "regular" jazz (well, #4 and #7 a bit out there).

A very nice session with good energy, a real snap in its step. The composing is solid and just a bit challenging, a really good listen.

*- Mid/fast, upbeat and snappy
*- Mid/fast. Piano solo gets super fast
- Energetic mid/fast wandering. Slow start; quiet middle
*- Sarcastically snappy; midtempo w/crazy energy
- Pretty and lush, w/emphasis on bass
- Disjoint horn blares over fast bass riffs; fast but kind of mellow
*- Mid/fast, gets wild
- Quick tumbling theme
- Strangely swirling & fast
